It's time again for our weekly Mendis Tee-Shirt Sweepstakes. This time the rules have changed a bit.

New rules
I have added a twist to it just to make it a little more fun. From now on I will ask you a question about something on our website, the 7th person to email me with the correct answer will win a brand spanking new medium sized Mendis Coconut Brandy cotton tee-shirt, but the unique thing about these tee-shirts is, they will be signed and dated by our founder, Mr. W.M. Mendis, whom founded Mendis distillery in the 1940’s.




This time around, there will be no need to check your email every few minutes to see if you're a winner. Free Mendis Merchandise

Just to let you all know tomorrow is going to be our first of many promo days where we will be giving away Mendis merchandise. Keep an eye out for a post from us tomorrow requesting you to email us, the 20th person to email us with an email titled "MENDIS T-SHIRT SWEEPSTAKES" at promos@mendisbrandy.com once we post the blog will win a Mendis T-Shirt. CONGRATULATIONS TO...

The winner selected this morning for The Mendis Million Dollar Bottle Sweepstakes was Janis Carter. Janis has won the world's second production bottle of Mendis coconut brandy that comes signed and numbered by our founder from 1947, Mr. W.M. Mendis, along with a certificate of authenticity to verify its originality. The bottle comes presented in a limited edition velvet lined collectors box personally plated and etched with the Mendis mark.

The first bottle in the world of Mendis coconut brandy is being offered for $1,0000,000, which is the most expensive bottle of alcohol ever released to the public. The value from these special limited numbered and signed bottles is held within the fact that they are the first bottles of a new category ("coconut brandy" not "flavored coconut brandy" that is artifical) to be released to the world. The true value of these bottles will come into their own as time goes by, you simply have to ask yourself, how much would the first bottles of Grey Goose be worth if the late Sidney Frank (founder of Grey Goose) signed and numbered them? quite possibly priceless! but he didn't know that back then. These first release bottles will be priceless items that over the years will become a part of our heritage in addition to being a prestigious marker in our history.

It's All In The Name - Literally

Well it has been fifteen days since the drawing of the Sweepstakes winner and we still have not heard from them yet. I can't help but think to myself how fast those fifteen days went by, feels like just the other day we drew the winner. Anyway, today is the last day for the winner to get back to us, to be more specific tonight at 11:59pm EST is the cut off time for claiming the prize. If we don't hear from them by then, tomorrow at 12 noon EST we will be drawing another name as the winner, so stay dialed to your phone for a call from us around this time, it might just be your digits we dial. If we get hold of the winner and get their permission to post their name on this blog, we will do so as soon as possible.
